Restoran Chandayu Ikan Bakar in Selangor

"Went there Sunday night. Thought the shop was deserted at first with no road light turned on around. When we got there at 10.20 p.m. there was only one other family eating. So the atmosphere is spot on, the restaurant is built on stilts atop of mangrove bay & have a jetty with fisherman's boat docked. Price of dishes is superb. Best price I had from ikan bakar place. Maybe because they caught the fish themselves so no markup from supplier. While waiting for food we got fairly entertained by the Discovery Channel happening around us. 1st time seeing aquatic snake hunting for small fishes Since we're the only customer the food comes out fairly fast. Warm delicious meal & fresh seafood and it only cost me less than RM100 for a family of 4. That's a steal in this economy. On the other hand, had the driest of fried chicken, smelly twister & blandest zinger for me & only my wife, cost me RM65.00. That'll be the last visit to K*C from me."

"Went there for iftar. Since we go after maghrib, no queue at all. All dishes were great but we asked for siakap tiga rasa and got siakap cili or siakap masak merah instead. Super narrow entrance for car. Need to slowly observe before entering the road."

"Each of the food, taste superb & excellent & very delicious. The way they cooked, similar to Chinese style . Serve foods during hot. All Drinks especially watermelon laici. Need improvement with the services, lack of waiters, foods also quite late to service to table, maybe we were in big group (25pax) Scenery beautiful just next to river but environment quite warm, need to add more fans in the restaurant. Average all of of very satisfied, may repeat again in future"

"Very nice setup, right on the jetty. The bridge/titi ti tge restaurant is realky cool, and some decoration. Would be nice to buy fresh fish when it arrive, but i guess the timing must be right. During my visit, there are not that many options of fishes ..though we has ikan merah, prawn, squid, crab. Delicious. Price wise ..i cannot say its cheap ..but standard i guess."
